| Antique Cox Control Line Plane's History and flights by NightFlyyer.
Can you watch all the way? If not, don't try flying dizzying U-Control. What you see is exacly what I saw! My friend Larry at the Roller Skating Rink asked me if I wanted some old Cox airplanes. Of course I said yes. This video shows what is like to stand in the middle of the circle on only 25 foot strings and spin. Using 2 cameras, you will see the perspective and hear the engine noise. Ending with a Modern twist, I hope you enjoy this piece of Model Airplane Nostalgia. Cox Models, a former division of Estes Industries of Penrose, Colorado, was a multimillion-dollar hobby company, was one of the hobby industry's oldest companies, and is noted for its production of miniature model internal-combustion engines. This company, originally named "The LM Cox Manufacturing Co, Inc.," was founded in 1945 by the machinist Roy Cox in Placentia, California. Cox grew up in and around his father's bicycle shop, and developed an interest in mechanical devices. Cox's first products were wooden pop guns, produced in his home garage. Cox chose wood for his basic material, since metal was scarce during WW II. When metals became readily available in the United States in 1947, Cox turned his attention to new products, beginning with a diecast metal car. This product was developed into a "whip car", a tethered vehicle which could be manually swung in a circle at high speed. Nitro- and gasoline-powered tether cars with .60 cubic inch miniature engines capable of speeds of 100 mph (160 km/h ... |

| Kevin Booth Exposes CIA Controlled Drug Running Business in Latest Dvd on The Alex Jones Show 2/4
Alex talks with film and video director, producer, and musician Kevin Booth. Booth's film, American Drug War - The Last White Hope, has won three consecutive awards for "Best Feature Length Documentary" and was featured on Showtime. In his latest film, How Weed Won the West, Booth traces the fight against Federal drug regulation in the State of California. He interviews radio host Alex Jones, former drug dealers, real-life gang members, legal-weed pitch men, activists and advocates to find the truth. www.kevinbooth.com prisonplanet.tv infowars.com [[ How Weed Won The West ]] In the follow-up to his ground-breaking documentary 'American Drug War,' filmmaker Kevin Booth traces the fight against Federal drug regulation in the State of California. A public majority has spoken and said yes to states rights, allowing for the use of medicinal marijuana and opening up a new front in controversial medicinal 'dispensaries.' While users herald the freedom of legally-licensed "weed," powerful forces at the DEA and law enforcement haven't given up their federal enforcement power yet. Many dispensaries have been raided, targeting their distribution of marijuana and challenging their authority to rise into legitimate business. In the backdrop of this public dispute is the Dark Alliance-- where governments handle the volume of drug trafficking and work with cartels and drug dealers to manage the drug flow. Just like the prohibition of alcohol, drugs have thrived on their illicit appeal ... |

| Parrot's AR Drone does iPhone controlled augmented reality, blows our mind at CES 2010
Parrot was at CES 2010 to show off their new AR Drone quadricopter (basically a fancy name for a 4-rotor helicopter). It's controlled with an iPhone app that streams real-time video from its onboard camera. Using accelerometers, ultrasonic sensors, and a downward facing camera, the AR Drone automatically stabilizes itself in flight. You use the iPhone to control the AR Drone through on-screen controls or by tilting the iPhone. Needless to say, this is awesome. |

| Brain-Machine Interface Technology Enabling Control of a Robot by Human Thought Alone
Honda Research Institute Japan Co., Ltd. (HRI-JP), a subsidiary of Honda R&D Co., Ltd., Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International (ATR) and Shimadzu Corporation have collaboratively developed the worlds first*1 Brain Machine Interface (BMI) technology that uses electroencephalography (EEG) and near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) along with newly developed information extraction technology to enable control of a robot by human thought alone. It does not require any physical movement such as pressing buttons. This technology will be further developed for the application to human-friendly products in the future by integrating it with intelligent technologies and/or robotic technologies. During the human thought process, slight electrical current and blood flow change occur in the brain. The most important factor in the development of the BMI technology is the accuracy of measuring and analyzing these changes. The newly developed BMI technology uses EEG, which measures changes in electrical potential on the scalp, and NIRS, which measures changes in cerebral blood flow, with a newly developed information extraction technology which enables statistical processing of the complex information from these two types of sensors. As a result, it became possible to distinguish brain activities with high precision without any physical motion, but just human thought alone. |
